avenged sevenfold

Avenged Sevenfold (abreviado como A7X), es una banda estadounidense de heavy metal formada por el baterista Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan en 1999 en Huntington Beach, California, Estados Unidos. Avenged Sevenfold es conocido por la versatilidad de sus estilos musicales y por su destacado logotipo: Deathbat.

Sus integrantes son M. Shadows (vocalista), Zacky Vengeance (guitarrista y coros), Synyster Gates (guitarrista líder), Johnny Christ (bajista). Anteriormente, el batería y vocalista era The Rev hasta su temprana muerte en diciembre de 2009. Mike Portnoyentró para ayudar a la banda en sus conciertos incluyendo la gira “Nightmare After Christmas” durante el 2010 y salió de la banda el 16 de diciembre de ese mismo año al terminar la gira.

La banda comenzó como una banda de estilo metalcore con su álbum debut, Sounding the Seventh Trumpet en 2001, poco más tarde lanzaron su segundo álbum Waking The Fallen en 2003, en el cual The Rev y M. Shadows utilizaron el estilo vocalScreaming en algunas canciones. Con el lanzamiento de su tercer álbum de estudio y su primer gran éxito City of Evil en 2005fueron transformando su estilo hacia el hard rock. Desde ese punto, la banda se ha conocido mundialmente. La banda lanzó el DVD All Excess en donde se les ve desde los comienzos de la banda hasta 2007. El 27 de julio de 2010 fue lanzado su más reciente álbum de estudio titulado Nightmare que debutó como #1 en la cartelera Billboard 200.

FLOU es una banda de Rock paraguaya, formada en 1997 en la ciudad de Asunción con influencias del rock y Metal. En poco tiempo, logró la atención de un gran número de personas y ha conseguido un lugar destacado dentro de la escena local del Paraguay. Se puede decir que están entre los músicos más populares de su país.

2000-2002 (Despertar)

En el mes de marzo del 2000, Walter Cabrera, Bruno Ferreiro (ex Turkish Blend), Federico Wagener, Ariel Sandoval y Ariel Insfrán conforman la formación estable de FLOU, en septiembre de ese mismo año la banda empieza a marcar sus primeras huellas dentro de la escena local paraguaya, grabando su primer material de estudio, con el fin de difundirlo en radios y pubs. Debido a la alta respuesta del público luego de la presentación del material, la banda decide entrar nuevamente a estudio, para grabar y lanzar el demo bajo el nombre de Despertar, el cual cuenta con 5 temas de autoría propia en formato CD. El demo fue puesto a la venta a finales del mismo mes, agotándose en 3 meses. Realizaron varios shows en conocidos pubs unders de Asunción en esos años como Mr. Jones y El Bosque de Barnie, con el fin de promocionar el demo en donde se registraron llenos completos.

La banda ha sabido ganarse, con prontitud, la atención de un gran número de personas; con lo que ha conseguido un lugar destacado dentro de la escena local del Paraguay. Esto inspiró a la banda a lanzar su primer material independiente y a realizar un gran número de recitales con respetable concurrencia antes de que cumpliera 3 años. En diciembre de ese año FLOU organizó uno de sus primeros shows internacionales propios, invitando a Cabezones de Argentina en el Ferrocarril Central, donde grabaron un video clip que posteriormente iba a convertirse en uno de los cortes de su próximo material.
